Cycle to Work Scheme
Bike to Work Scheme
What is the Bike to Work Scheme?
The Government scheme to encourage people to cycle to work came into force. Cycling keeps you fit, it’s fast, cheap and reliable – and it’s good for the environment.
The new bike scheme covers bicycles and accessories up to a maximum cost of €1,000. The bicycle must be purchased by your employer but the scheme can then operate either with your employer bearing the full cost of the bicycle, or by way of a salary sacrifice agreement where you pay, tax free, over 12 months.
How much do I save?

Participating in the bicycle scheme is easy and we can help every step of the way. Ask your employer if they take part in the scheme, if so, they simply purchase the bike and equipment up to €1000 on your behalf, with the excess paid by you.
At Greenaer we are on hand to help you buy your bicycle using the cycle to work scheme, we provide you with a zero obligation quotation which you can submit to your HR Department, once processed we invoice your company directly and after you pay any excess over 1000 euro, we deliver your bike to the door for free.
